Town & Country Credit Union (TCCU), with approximately $400 million in assets, has launched a search for a Chief Executive Officer to replace the current CEO, who is soon retiring. TCCU is an outstanding, well capitalized organization which has major offices located in both Minot and Fargo, North Dakota as well as additional branches located throughout the state. TCCU has a strong focus on growth and has been very successful by not only caring for its members’ consumer lending and depository needs, but by focusing on a strong commercial and agricultural lending portfolio as well. In addition, the secondary market mortgage department has had consistent growth from year to year and has handled over $140 million in mortgage lending in each of the last two years. This position requires conducting business development activities, as well as participating in both community and business affairs events to promote TCCU’s visibility and continued growth.
 
A bachelor’s degree in business, finance or a related field from an accredited college or university is required. The new CEO must have the ability to work collaboratively with the board of directors in defining the strategic direction of the credit union and must be an experienced executive who can provide outstanding leadership and direction while overseeing the safety and soundness of the credit union’s financial structure. An individual with a proven track record of excellence, a high degree of integrity and communications skills, as well as knowledge and experience in agricultural lending is a must. A minimum of either three years of experience as a president/CEO or five years of responsible experience in a financial institution of equal or greater size is desired. Strong, equivalent experience in commercial or agricultural lending may be considered.
